WHAT IS THIS?

Dungeon of the Lost is an autonomous monster hunting simulator where knights move, explore, and fight without any player input. You simply observe, inspect, and watch your party evolve.

This is not a game you play — it's a living simulation that plays itself, generating emergent stories with every run.

HOW IT WORKS

Knights spawn in the Dungeon Camp and autonomously:

  • Explore procedurally generated dungeon chambers
  • Fight goblins, skeletons, spiders, cultists, and fearsome bosses
  • Collect gold and experience from defeated enemies
  • Level up — gaining stats, HP, and power
  • Retreat to camp to heal when wounded

No controls. No clicking. Just watch the story unfold.

YOUR PARTY

The simulation starts with 8 knights, each with unique:

  • Name and Rune Symbol
  • Stats (Strength, Endurance, Agility, Rune Mastery)
  • HP and XP progression
  • Combat behavior

Knights level up automatically, gaining power with every victory.

PROGRESSION SYSTEM

Dungeon Depth

Each time the Dungeon Lord is defeated, the dungeon level increases, spawning tougher monsters with better rewards.

Knight Leveling

Knights gain XP from combat. Leveling up:

  • Increases all stats
  • Restores full HP
  • Increases max HP
  • Makes knights stronger for deeper runs

VISUAL STYLE

  • Pixel-art aesthetic inspired by classic RPGs
  • Hand-drawn pixel map with distinct chambers
  • Animated knight sprites with walking cycles
  • Monster sprites with health indicators
  • Parchment-style UI panels with gold trim
